Document Requirements

• Duly filled passport application form (online via Passport Seva portal)

• Proof of identity (Aadhaar card, voter ID, PAN card, etc.)

• Proof of address (electricity bill, rent agreement, bank statement, etc.)

• Date of birth proof (birth certificate, school certificate, etc.)

• Recent passport-size photographs (as per Indian passport specs)

• Old passport (if applying for reissue/renewal)

• Marriage certificate (if applicable for name change)

• Annexures/affidavits as per requirement (Annexure E for minors, Annexure F for government employees, etc.)

Visa Process

• Register online at Passport Seva Portal.

• Fill application form and submit details.

• Pay application fee online.

• Book appointment at nearest Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) or Post Office Passport Seva Kendra (POPSK).

• Visit PSK/POPSK with original documents + photocopies.

• Biometric & document verification at the centre.

• Police verification at applicant’s local police station.

• Application review & approval by Regional Passport Office.

• Passport printing & dispatch via Speed Post.
