Document Requirements

Valid passport (minimum 6 months validity)
Completed online visa application form (Religious Worker Work Visa)
Offer of religious work from a registered religious organisation in New Zealand
Sponsorship documents from the religious organisation (must be a registered charity)
Evidence of at least 2 years of religious training and/or work experience
Proof of qualifications (if applicable)
Identity documents (national ID, Aadhaar, etc.)
Police clearance certificate (India + New Zealand, if applicable)
Health examination reports (as per Immigration NZ requirements)
Passport-size photographs (digital upload)
Family documents (if including dependents – marriage certificate, birth certificates)

Visa Process

Secure an offer of religious work from a registered religious organisation in New Zealand.
Apply online via the Immigration New Zealand portal.
Fill application form under Religious Worker Work Visa category.
Upload documents (passport, sponsorship letter, qualifications, police & health checks).
Pay visa fee online (from NZD $1355).
Submit application and receive confirmation.
Wait for processing (80% of applications processed within 5 weeks).
Receive visa grant notice electronically (linked to passport)
