Document Requirements

• Valid passport (minimum 6 months validity, with at least 2 blank pages)

• Completed visa application form (BI-84)

• Recent passport-size photographs

• Proof of travel (round-trip flight tickets, itinerary)

• Proof of accommodation (hotel booking or invitation letter)

• Financial documents (bank statements, salary slips, ITR)

• Employment proof (letter, leave approval, ID)

• Travel insurance covering full stay

• Yellow fever vaccination certificate (if traveling from a risk country)

• Cover letter explaining purpose of visit

Visa Process

• Fill visa application form (BI-84) and gather required documents.

• Book appointment at South African Embassy or VFS Global centre.

• Submit documents + biometrics at Visa Application Centre.

• Pay visa fee at the time of submission.

• Wait for processing (typically 2–4 weeks).

• Receive decision via email or Embassy notification.

• Collect passport with visa sticker if approved.
